Plaubel Rollo-Op German C.1937 Medium Format 6x4.5 Rangefinder Camera. With Anticomar 7.5cm f/2.8 Lens
The Roll-Op II was a highly advanced medium format compact folder manufactured by Plaubel (Germany) during 1930's . The base platform was modeled on the Balda Baldax, with added coupled rangefinder, that is separate from the viewfinder. This rangefinder design is the same one as the one mounted on the Makina. Plaubel Anticomar Lens 7.5cm f/2.8 comes with helical focusing. The shutter was a Compur Rapid 1 to 1/400th second plus B, T. The body had an automatic exposure counter, that only needs a red window for the first frame. The Roll-Op II did exist in two versions, one with 4.5x6cm format and the other with 6x6cm format. The the 4.5x6 model had two red windows, at the top of the back, with a long rectangular sliding cover.
